Over 65kg of Food Collected for Hope for Food – Cranksgiving 3.0

Last Friday we hosted our 3rd annual Cranksgiving event and thanks to everyone’s support it was a huge success!

Riders managed to collect over 65kg of food for local charity Hope for Food.

Braving the freezing conditions, riders collected their items at lightning speed with our rolling (cargo bike) camera crew barely able to keep up! Our very own mechanic and friend Ben Ramshaw blew the competition out of the water with a huge effort finishing an impressive 4 minutes before the second place rider Jason Falconer pulled in. The podium was finished with Stefan Sokolowski taking 3rd place and KYCU Velo rider Jenny Cocking winning fastest female.

Fuelled by a concoction of incredible beers, the smooth sounds of DJ Max Ray and tasty food from our culinary wizard Sarah, riders and spectators spent the remainder of the evening celebrating.

Huge thank you to everyone who joined us, particularly the riders who made it possible and of course our event sponsors:
