What food and drink will be at Wellbeing by the Lakes Festival?

Velo Domestique will be serving you delicious food and coffee at the Wellbeing by the Lakes festival, in Dorchester, DT2 8QU on Thursday 19 September, to Saturday 21 September 2019.

Enhance your wellbeing mood with a mezze throughout the day, and in the evening we’ll be serving gluten-free Tacos. We have speciality filter coffee (inc. decaf), teas, soft drinks, kombucha, cold brew and vegan milkshakes to keep you hydrated. And as treats, bar snacks, brownies and baked goods including vegan options.

The festival programme is now available, links below including highlights:

  • THURSDAY (10 am – 5 pm) – guided meditation & sound bathing
  • FRIDAY (10 am – 10 pm) – witness the Tashi Lhunpo Monks dance on Friday night.
  • SATURDAY (10 am – 10 pm) – Jazz Sitarist Shama Rahma, supported by Brazilian vocalist Bi & The Amanas. 

Mezzes to enhance your mood, everyday 

Our Mezzes are a little taste of everything on one plate, not too heavy and not too light. Perfect for keeping you balanced, throughout the festival. It’s full of bright, varied flavours and you can expect to find: 

  • chickpea hummus
  • mhammarah (contains walnuts)
  • chickory, red onion & pomegranate salad
  • mungbean, tahini & orange salad
  • za’atar cauliflower
  • Rocket & pesto potatoes

Optional extras include grilled halloumi and flatbread.

Tacos for Friday & Saturday night

On Friday and Saturday from 6 pm, we’ll be selling Tacos. Our Tacos use locally sourced, handmade, gluten-free tortillas. 

Speciality coffee and cold drinks available all-day. 

Speciality filter coffee (inc. decaf), teas, soft drinks, kombucha and our own cold brew, decaf. Plus made to order Milkshakes including vegan options.

The Wellbeing by the Lakes festival, organised by Simon Gudgeon, Festival Director, artist and owner of Sculpture by the Lakes. Simon is one of the UK’s leading contemporary sculptors.
