Charity Cycle Ride and Coffee Caravan at We Out Here Festival

We're thrilled to announce our involvement which combines our love for cycling, great coffee, and giving back to the community. This year, we're organizing a charity bike ride to the We Out Here Festival in Wimborne St Giles, Dorset. Plus, we’re serving you delicious coffee all weekend long, at the festival, from our little blue caravan.

In this blog post, we’ll share details about the festival, the charity cycle ride, the cause we are supporting, and how you can find our charming coffee caravan if you are attending the We Out Here Festival on 10 - 14 August 2023.

Cycle to We Out Here

The charity bike ride to We Out Here Festival is already fully booked, and we couldn't be more thrilled by the overwhelming response. If you've secured a spot, get ready for an epic ride starting from Velo Domestique on Thursday, 10 August. If you missed out this time, don't worry! Follow and sign up for updates from We Out Here on their social media platforms, and you'll be among the first to know about future rides.

To participate, riders are required to cycle 22 miles on the road and raise over £200 in donations. In return for your efforts, you'll receive a free ticket to the festival, making this a truly rewarding experience for all involved.

We Out Here Festival

For the first time, We Out Here Festival will grace the enchanting village of Wimborne St Giles, Dorset. Previously held in Abbots Ripton, Cambridgeshire, the festival has found a new home (in our home county), surrounded by our lush Dorset greenery. Renowned broadcaster, DJ, and record collector Gilles Peterson curates the event, promising a captivating lineup of artists, musicians, and performers. Prepare yourself for a memorable celebration of music and culture.

Supporting a Musical Cause

We're proud that the charity bicycle ride is raising funds to support the Absolute Music Trust, a local music charity that injects joy into the lives of people in Dorset and Hampshire. Their inclusive approach offers hands-on musical activities and engaging workshops for a wide range of individuals and groups, including those facing physical challenges, financial constraints, mental health issues, and addiction. By supporting the Absolute Music Trust, we contribute to the empowerment and well-being of our community through the universal language of music.

Visit Our Coffee Caravan

During your time at We Out Here Festival, please visit our charming little blue caravan, where we'll be serving up the finest coffee all weekend long. Allow the aroma of freshly brewed beans to guide you to our mobile coffee station, nestled amidst the festival's vibrant atmosphere. Whether you're in need of a morning pick-me-up or a midday caffeine boost, our dedicated baristas will craft the perfect cup of coffee to enhance your festival experience.

Visiting Velo Domestique

If you're planning to visit Velo Domestique on Thursday, 10 August, we'd love to see you there! Please keep in mind that around 50 riders will be gathering and getting ready to embark on their journey to Wimborne St Giles at midday. It might be a bit busy, but we appreciate your patience and understanding as we kick off this fantastic charity bike ride.
