Cranksgiving Bournemouth 2026 – Save the Date! - 25th November
Wednesday 25th November 2026
It's that time of year again! Cranksgiving Bournemouth is back for another evening of bikes, food donations, questionable navigation and a little friendly competition all for a good cause.
For those unfamiliar, Cranksgiving is part bike ride, part food drive and part scavenger hunt. Originally started in New York City over two decades ago, it's now celebrated by cycling communities around the world, all with the same goal: collecting food for those in the community who need it most.
Here in Bournemouth, Cranksgiving has grown: collecting even more food year on year, and we'd love you to join us again this November.
Bournemouth Cranksgiving 2026 – Wednesday 25th November
Riders will be given a shopping list before heading out at the same time across Bournemouth, visiting local shops and collecting food items along the way.
There's no set course, so whether you're pushing for the win or taking a more leisurely approach, the route is entirely up to you.
All food collected will be donated to Hope for Food, supporting local people facing hardship this winter.

Sponsors & Prizes
We're currently putting together this year's sponsors and prizes, with more announcements to follow.
A huge thank you to everyone who supported Cranksgiving in 2025:
We Out Here, Hope Tech, Hiplok, Muc-Off, Jimmy's Iced Coffee, Hard Lines Coffee, Bad Hand Coffee, Red Fin Cider, Lush, Flaming Noras and Velo Domestique.
Their generosity helped make last year's event possible, with plenty of prizes and, most importantly, a brilliant collection of food for Hope for Food.
We're looking forward to doing it all again this year.
