We are excited to be holding our fifth annual edition of Bournemouth's Cranksgiving.

Cranksgiving is all about having through social cycling and doing good for the community through a bike ride

The ride is free to enter and open to all abilities.

The goal is for riders to collect the food items on the shopping list provided from specific supermarkets in the area. The first rider to return with all of the items on the list is the winner.

All food items collected are donated to local charity Hope for Food who provide food to those who need help with their basic essentials due to our current economic climate.

Entry is free but riders must pay for their own items, this will total no more than £5.

Entry from 18:30

Food lists handed out 19:15

19:30 depart

We have prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place as well as fastest female and fastest fixed gear.

We've got some awesome sponsors donating prizes for the fastest riders, thank you to Bad Hand Coffee, Brother Cycles, Conker Spirit and Passenger Clothing for your support.

Music from Adam Foxx of We Broke Free bringing his usual selection of hip hop and smooth R'n'B.

Spectators are more than welcome; we will have records being spun by Adam Fox, drinks and bar snacks available during and after the ride. It is a wonderful feeling for riders to finish the ride to a large group of spectators so please join us if you can to cheer on these riders.

This year we are going to be having screen printed tees on pre-sale with all profits going to Hope for Food.

Bring your pals
