2020 has been a year of surprises and having to respond and shake up approaches, we've reinvented how you can take part in Cranksgiving during a National Lockdown, and now we're working out how to hold a Cranksgiving Night in Tier 2.

Cranksgiving-29-2.jpg

Current government guidelines of Tier 2 mean that groups of up to six people are allowed to meet outside on a bicycle ride. We plan to split entrants into groups of 6, starting at the same time but from different locations with the same shopping list and finishing at each other's starting location.

To work out how many starting locations we need to organise we need anyone who would like to enter at 6:30 pm on Friday the 4th of December to email us info@velodomestique.co.uk with their name and the names of any participants joining them. Guidelines state this rule of six is the maximum number regardless of households, so we do not need to know if you live together.

The whole evening will be held outside, including the prize-giving which will be staggered. Everyone who takes part will get a free beer from us for being great; unfortunately, we won't be able to invite you inside to drink it with us. Free sticker packs for all under 18 riders and prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and fastest female (if fastest female finishes on the podium they receive both sets of prizes).

The shopping list on the night will be different from the one provided beforehand. Entry is free but riders must purchase their own items on the shopping list.

Please let us know if you would like to take part by 5 pm on Thursday the 3rd so we can announce final details.

All food collected will be donated to local charity Hope for Food.

Circumstances may change between now and Friday, meaning we may be forced to cancel. However, you can still enter our raffle/time trial Cranksgiving route with details here.
