Omnium E-Mini-Max V3
Electric power. Everyday versatility. Endless possibilities.
The Omnium E-Mini-Max V3 combines the agile handling of the Mini-Max with the powerful Shimano EP801 Cargo motor, creating an electric cargo bike that's fast, capable and ready for anything. Whether you're carrying children, commuting across town or replacing the car for everyday errands, the E-Mini-Max delivers effortless assistance without sacrificing the ride feel Omnium is known for.
Sitting neatly between the Cargo and the Mini, the E-Mini-Max offers impressive carrying capacity in a more compact package. Its shorter wheelbase makes it feel remarkably close to a regular bicycle, with tighter turning, easier parking and confident handling in busy urban environments. The front rack remains compatible with Omnium's extender accessories, giving you the flexibility to carry even more when you need it.
Powered by Shimano's flagship EP801 Cargo drive unit, you'll enjoy smooth, natural assistance whether you're climbing steep hills with a full load or cruising effortlessly through town. Designed specifically for cargo bikes, the motor delivers confident power exactly when you need it.

Still not sure: Cargo or Mini-Max?
One of the questions we get asked most is whether to choose the Omnium Cargo or the Mini-Max. Our advice is simple: if you're carrying heavier loads (around 25kg or more) for more than half of your riding, we'd recommend the Cargo. If you spend more than half your time riding without cargo, the Mini-Max is usually the better choice.
The Cargo's longer wheelbase helps balance heavier loads, making steering feel more stable when carrying children, work equipment or larger deliveries. But if you've just dropped the kids at nursery or finished your deliveries, the Mini-Max's shorter wheelbase feels much closer to a regular bike, making the ride home quicker, lighter and more playful. So it is a slight trade off, but both are fantastically fun to ride and very versatile.
